Padar Island, one of the numerous islands in Indonesia, sits as part of the Komodo National Park in East Nusa Tenggara. Known for its breathtaking beauty and unique landscapes, it’s a less-visited gem compared to its neighbors like Komodo Island. Padar Island stands out for its rugged hills, pristine beaches in multiple hues (including pink sand!), and panoramic views from the tops of its hilly terrains.
The island is less inhabited and offers a natural, serene atmosphere that’s perfect for hiking, snorkeling, and photography. The trails can be quite steep, but the view at the summit—where you can see the curving coastlines and contrasting beach colors—is absolutely worth the effort.
